Fear is Real

As we all know, The Novel Corona Virus (COVID-19) that started in China in Dec. 2019 has now spread across the globe affecting 218 countries and territories. As of now, even the world’s best health facilitated countries struggle to control and limit the spread of the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Now, almost all businesses are closed. Entire world is under the Lock Down. Even the social and religious events canceled. The physical distancing is now becoming a new trend. The closure of schools, offices and workplaces are particularly challenging, as it affect what we love to do, where we want to go, and whom we want to get together. The freedom of movement is severely limited; the problem has worsened, particularly for older folks with limited social life. 

In recent time, all sorts of activities and businesses of each region and section are facing such an impressive disturbance that their survival is on trails. Besides global humanitarian and political crisis, the world is near to face economic crisis also on a grand scale. People have no idea how long their work will remain suspended. We all are now at a point wherein everybody needs to come jointly for the good of all human beings.

Fear combined with an uncertain future is normal in one’s life. However, in the present situation, stumbling under the threat of The Novel Corona Virus (COVID-19), there is no denying that the ‘Fear is Real’. For some, the fear of being affected with the The Novel Corona Virus (COVID-19) and for others the worry about how this will affect their economical position. A large section of society is suddenly waking up to the fear of losing their employments or a salary cut. For many, the fear of the unknown and uncertainty over how long they have to resort to restraining their daily lives.

Experts say that the The Novel Corona Virus (COVID-19) crisis has indeed created a combination of financial and monetary instability, and there has been a gigantic disruption of the normal structure of life, leading to a harsh effect on people's emotional and mental health. Even a child who hears from his parents about the virus in a very distressed way, befell very sensitive and perceptive and gets a long-term negative effects in his consciousness. 

That is where The Digital Age comes to our support. There are restrictions on social life but not on social media. After all, it has never been so easy to be in touch with the people who matter to us the most. The use of social media at least gives that illusion of nearness and feel like the person whom we are talking to is close to us. One way of capitalizing on this isolation is to priorities the things we enjoy doing ourselves,  

 To come out of this sensitivity of being alone, we have a choice to utilize our unexpected time to focus on other aspects of lives that may not have paid very much attention before.
