Passport Seva at Khidmat Centre Saaj The Passport is an important document for individuals who wants to travel abroad for any of the purposes, e.g. for Business Reasons, Tourism, Pilgrimage, Education, Work and Employment Purposes, Medical Treatments, or Family Vacations.    The External Affairs Ministry (MEA), along with CSC e-Governance Services India Ltd. has launched Online Passport Services through a vast network of CSC (Khidmat Centres) across rural locality in India.  In India, there are number of Passport Offices, Passport Seva Kendras (PSKs) and about 180 Indian embassies and consulates located abroad. The Passport issued to an Individual Residents of India is valid for a period of 10 years and for minor applicants, the validity is restricted to five years.
