Khidmat Centre Staff Seek Job Policy

Members of the J&K Khidmat Centres Association (JKKCA) staged a protest here on Wednesday demanding formulation of a job policy. “For the past 73 days, we have been protesting in Jammu and demanding formulation of a job policy. Due to security concerns, we are not allowed to protest here (in Srinagar) and have been protesting in Jammu. We have been given many assurances but we need a concrete document,” said JKKCA member Ali Mohammad during a protest at Press Enclave.A press statement of the JKKCA said they had not earned anything for the past seven months and appealed to the administration to officially announce the formulation of a job policy.
